We conduct drawing classes for underprivileged children in order to explore their uniqueness and appreciate the hidden treasures they carry inside their wondering minds. Our art teachers have effectively taught aspiring students to attain new skills and polish the potential of the gifted ones.
To encourage them further, we conduct special art competitions and events where they can showcase and learn new art forms. Special prizes are distributed to the winners, and certificates of participation for the rest of our participants at the end of our own drawing competitions.
Abacas
Mathematics is the most important subject to concentrate on as it holds the maximum practical implementation of our day-to-day lives ideal for survival.
Keeping that in mind we began this initiative to teach small children the tricks to solve calculations accurately and in a way that the impact stays in their long-term memory. Previously the admission charges were 2000 rupees, but recently after the stabilization of covid-19 pandemic, the admission charges went from Rs. 2000 to Rs. 800, and a monthly fee of Rs. 400, in order to make the accessibility more affordable.
Dance
The purpose of art is to attain inner peace and explore it to an extent that leads to the search for one’s truest self. Dance is probably the best way to exhale your repressed emotions and attain the ultimate peace of mind. To practically implement our objectives, we have initiated our weekly dance classes for small children at minimal expenses completely bearable by underprivileged families.
We believe that no creative ability should go in vain, especially because of petty reasons and so this active approach is to embrace young talents.
Karate
In today’s generation, self-defense is an important weapon everyone should possess to combat life’s challenges, especially in a country like India where the majority sections of the people are victims of heinous physical violence.
BDHWA members are providing Karate classes over the past couple of years to prepare the children for future challenges and at the same time to enhance a skill that they can carry forward to represent our country globally.
Tuition
Since our inception, we have solely believed in the supremacy of education and the ones who disseminate the depths of knowledge efficiently. To give them proper attention, we provide tuition classes to needy children so that they can profoundly understand what they have been learning in school at an affordable fee and free-of-cost services for exceptional students who are going through an extreme financial crisis.
Doctor’s Clinic
We provide medical benefits to the downtrodden sections at an affordable rate by collaborating with the most renowned doctors available to ensure that everyone gets proper attention and effective treatments. The initiative is to ensure that everyone leads a happy and healthy life.

- Dr. Anand Kumar Jain (Dept. of Homeopathic Consultation, Every Wednesday 3:30 p.m to 4:30 p.m)
Food Distribution
After all these years of hard work, consistency, and persistence we’ve learned that heaven lies within us and the purpose of life is to protect that heaven at any cost. What we behold in our minds is reflected through our eyes. And so, when every year we distribute food to the poor, and their purity shines through their eyes.
Food distribution programs happen twice every week, including on special occasions and seasons. Other than that we continue our distribution programs at various festivals like Durga Puja, Diwali, Dussehra, and so on. It is God’s greatest blessing to be able to feed a hungry stomach.
Blanket Distribution
We all have witnessed the destitute lying barely in helplessness, with no clothes to protect them, nothing edible to help them stay healthy, they perish in pain with all the buried longings in their hearts and a million dreams left unexpressed inside their unexplored mysterious mind. We feel the biggest purpose of our life is humanity, that’s what our ultimate identity is, “we are human beings and only primates with complex emotional intelligence.” Our beloved members have distributed thousands (still counting) of warm blankets to everyone from infants to old aged people prominently on every possible occasion, especially during unbearable winter seasons to these unfortunates. And what we got in return? Their unconditional love and smile to cherish forever.
Skill Development Training
In today’s generation, it is essential that we focus on creating work opportunities for the unemployed sections. Families having no source of income also hampers the life of their infants unintentionally. Somehow we are responsible for it as for so many years they’ve been ignored and kept in darkness. For us, gender equity is an important factor as we find it necessary to make both women and men self-reliant for all the poor sections of society, by giving them free training in sewing, embroidery, weaving, etc., helping them provide self-employment by setting up small industries.
Over the years, we’ve sent artisans to popular melas where they sell their products to earn their living. Other than that, their works are sent to different retailers so that they can get a good marketplace to further continue their work.
