Children’s Day

Every year on the 14th of November we celebrate Children’s Day with the aim of spreading child awareness among the common people. Children’s Day is celebrated across India to increase awareness about the rights, education, and welfare of children. On this day all the children and students participate in the cultural program arranged by us.

Independence Day

BDHWA organizes a flag-hoisting program every year to celebrate the auspicious Independence Day on the 15th of August. We conduct various cultural events to commemorate the selfless sacrifices made by our freedom fighters. Later, we discuss the significance of this day among the invited guests and the underprivileged children.

World Environment Day

We celebrate World Environment Day on the 5th of June every year with the aim of spreading more awareness on the topic of increasing concerns about global warming every single day with the growing population and it is a serious threat to our planet. Technological advancement, urbanization, and Growing factories have resulted in deforestation, pollution, and natural exploitation. Without trees, life won’t exist on Earth and so we must compensate for the damage we’ve done. Tree plantation is a way to reduce the chances of ecological imbalance and save the species from extinction. Forests are the habitat of animals and we need oxygen to live which comes from trees. But nowadays people are cutting trees and forests are shedding day by day. This can bring danger to us. Keeping this in mind our organization organizes awareness camps to provide correct knowledge about forest and how to preserve it and why it is necessary for us.

On this day, our members come together and encourage small children along with their parents to plant a tree individually. Later we arrange cultural functions where children perform according to the theme.

Republic Day

We celebrate Republic Day on the 26th of January every year. The founder of our organization hoists the National Flag and distributes sweets among the members and nearby people in our area. We organize drawing competitions for little children in our locality and distribute prizes among the top 10 winners of the drawing competitions. All the participants get a certificate of participation. We also deliver a heartfelt speech to tribute our freedom fighters.

World Health Day

On the 7th of April, we commemorate World Health Day as a global health awareness day, sponsored by WHO & other organizations that pay special attention to the connection between the condition of the planet and our health. Celebrations are often concerned with important topics on health to draw the attention and aware people throughout the world. On this day, we organize a special conversation panel where we reflect on the idea of taking care of your health to reduce the stigma around illness and encourage people to seek treatment and lead healthy life.

Women’s Day

We celebrate Women’s Day every year on the 8th of March to commemorate their accomplishments in all fields whether it’s educational, political, cultural, or socio-economical. On this special occasion, our BDHWA members host several events like debate competitions where we intend to highlight some of the most important issues like gender equality, and societal rights, and speak against abuse or violence.  We encourage the common people to convey their concerns about the state of women in our country.
